 Site News: Back Up!!!

News and changes to this site.
Mission Trip 2008!  Yes, we returned to Riverton, WY.  The New York Mission Team  joined us this year and it was a great trip.   We had 16 from NY with 37 teens from Gulf States.  The Lord blessed us with being able to stay in the Methodist Church in Riverton.  There were work projects at the Adventist church as well as NY doing a VBS there.  Work projects at the Assembly of God church and GS did their VBS there.  We each had a lot of children attending.   Each VBS was very successful.  So glad to see many returnees.  It was nice to be together again and make new friends as well.

NEW LINK !!! Check under Web Links - Teen Invitational’s - Rock climbing to check out the view the youth had that went rock climbing. The view is always best from the top. Great time with other teens in God's great outdoors. Time to enjoy, learn to climb, learn to repel, learning to trust and teamwork.

We will be putting links in here from time to time that will be of interest.

This site is set up for the use of anyone that has ever been on one of our mission trips, and for those working behind the scenes that make the trips possible. We are compiling a database of members, past, present, and future. We will also be posting a gallery of images from past trips, as these become available. 2008 was our 19th year of teen mission service in the Gulf States Conference. Please register as a member and notify any of your friends from the mission trips you attended. All participants and support staff will be able to use this website as a method of contact between other registered members. Forums for discussions and chat rooms are developed to enhance the communication of all registered participants and staff. Everyone has a great time on our mission trips, and carry the memories with them for the rest of their lives. We have in many cases bonded and become like family. We'd like for everyone to be able to share their memories with others, and to stay in touch with the friends they've made on the trips. If you have any suggestions or questions, or have things to share, please e-mail - Admin. Let us hear from you soon. Thanks, and God bless.

 2009 Mission Trip Applications.

News and changes to this site.Anonymous writes "Well, 2008 Teen Mission Trip is history. All are back home safe. If you were not on this trip you missed a great trip. Ask anyone that was there.  It was an excellent trip and we have an invitation to return.  Having been there for two years in a row, we are considering going to a new location.  We started our mission trips going to the Southwest visiting and working among the Navajo.  It has been many years since we have been to Monument Valley and we are considering returning.  We have spoken with numerous staff at the mission station and they excited that we may return.  Check back for information when the decision is finalized.
Don’t wait too long to get your application mailed in as I expect it to fill-up early as word gets out. 2009Trip Applications (right click to save).

 New York Teen Mission Trip

News and changes to this site.New York Teens. We were thrilled that NY was able to join GS again.  It was a fantastic experience.  We got reacquainted with some returnees and made many new friends.   Plans are going well for the 2009 mission trip for GS and we are hoping perhaps we can join together again sometime.  2008 was an exciting year.  We had two VBSs running at the same time.  We ate and slept in the Methodist church.  God opened the doors for us to have a nice place to stay, a bit crowded, cold showers the first week, but it was fun.  The food was good and we had work projects to do.  We went to a hot air balloon lift off with more than 50 balloons, and it was exciting!  It was a first for many of the teens.
